It’s hard for us to believe, but today is the day!
In about 6 hours, at 7pm ET, we’ll open the doors for Be Your Own Best Coach and welcome new students into our fall session.
We already have several students at the starting gate ready to enroll based on what they’ve seen and heard from what we’ve put out over the last many weeks.
A few things have struck them:
When Gabe M. said that what Be Your Own Best Coach offers is critical insights and skills that you can’t find anywhere else, that aren’t taught at home, on the job, nor in school.
That’s because Be Your Own Best Coach is focused on one thing and one thing only: Helping you help yourself in the way that works and fits for you to become the best version of yourself.
Everyone else--no matter how loving (parents), supportive (on-the-job mentors) or informative and inspiring (teachers) they are--has a particular agenda in mind for you. That agenda reflects what they want or hope for you.
Be Your Own Best Coach has one agenda, and only one agenda: To help you learn how to use a science-based system of exploration and discovery with powerful, practical methods to help you achieve your best hopes for your life.
How MacKenzie M described the format of the course: small bite-sized pieces of powerful, practical information that can be put into immediate use.
Our whole orientation with Be Your Own Best Coach is to enable you to put thought into action. That means making it relevant, practical, and easy to do.
We don’t overwhelm you with a lot of information, no matter how enlightening or inspiring. And we don’t leave it up to you to figure out how to apply what you’ve learned.
Because our focus is on helping you get to the winner’s circle, we not only tell you and show you how to implement the many things you learn in the course, we help you develop the skills you need through deliberate practice! This means trying things out in different contexts in your life, seeing where you do well, and helping boost your capacity in areas that may need work.
The way Dahlia A. noted that the course takes a holistic approach, to deal with the many different factors that contribute to your overall wellbeing.
We’re going to be totally blunt: We don’t care what you do with what you get from Be Your Own Best Coach. We have no investment in whether you eat organic, meditate 30 minutes a day, arrange your sock drawer by color, or any of the million things people say you have to do to live well.
That’s up to you.
What we do is commit to helping you recognize the different factors that influence your thinking and behavior, offer you different ways to manage and monitor those factors, and instill hope and confidence in you that you have what it takes to make it to the finish line as a winner. In your own way. At your own pace.
Our job is to help you appreciate, deep in your bones, the many strengths, skills, and resources you already have. And then to activate and amplify them within a proven system for positive, lasting change.
We have just a few more hours left. So, look for an email from us tonight the minute enrollment opens.
